The Soul Nurse Records label was founded by the The Ligerians following the release of the Reasonin' album in 2012. The band yearned for artistic independence through the development of their own way of playing reggae.

At the same time, Gabriel Bouillon, the band’s guitarist, set up Soul Nurse Studio, a recording studio that gave them the necessary autonomy to produce their music and elaborate their own sound.

Over the years, the label has endeavored to produce unique artists, developing collaborations with French and international singers such as Rod Anton, Joe Pilgrim, The Congos, Max Romeo, Vaughn Benjamin (Midnite/Akae Beka), Chezidek and Nadia McAnuff...

Acclaimed by the international reggae community for its musical identity and production quality, Soul Nurse Records is committed to producing rich, haunting and uncompromising music in keeping with its founding members' love of Jamaican reggae music.
